Agenda Item Summary:
(Update April 30, 2020. All revised and/or added text is shown in bold.) This item was continued from the April 9, 2020 Planning Commission meeting to allow the applicant to meet with staff regarding the proposed access to the property and the approved Traffic Impact Study. Subsequently, on April 7, 2020, staff met with the applicant to discuss the design of the proposed access from Wellington Drive and Catron Boulevard. The Traffic Impact Study recommends that stacking on Wellington Drive be 200 feet in length. As such, on April 29, 2020, the applicant submitted a revised drawing showing the extension of Wellington Drive to provide a minimum 200 feet of stacking distance with a cul-de-sac bulb at the northern terminus, relocating the access points to the two adjacent properties to the cul-de-sac bulb, and the dedication of additional right-of-way for Wellington Drive.
