Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Rezoning request to change the zoning designation from General Agriculture District to Medium Density Residential District for a parcel of land approximately 40.0-acres in size. The applicant has also submitted a Rezoning request to change the zoning designation on an adjacent 37.05-acre parcel from General Agriculture District to Medium Density Residential District. In addition, the applicant has submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan application to subdivide the 77.05-acres creating 265 residential lots as a phased development. The lots will range in size from 0.15-acres to 2.73-acres and will be known as the Shepherd Hills Subdivision. The property is located south and east of the southern terminus of E. Anamosa Street. Currently, the property is void of any structural development.
