Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Major Amendment to a Planned Development to allow an on-sale liquor establishment in conjunction with a restaurant. The restaurant is called “Juniper Restaurant” and is located in the existing Landstrom’s building. The Landstrom’s building redevelopment was a two phased redevelopment that includes a mix of retail, service, offices, restaurants, and a micro-brewery. The restaurant use was previously approved through a Major Amendment to a Planned Development. The proposed hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The applicant has indicated that there will be 5 full-time and 5 part-time employees. The proposed restaurant measures 1,588-square feet and will include an outdoor patio area measuring 865-square feet in size. A fence will be installed around the outdoor patio area.
