Agenda Item Summary:
Ordinance 6282 is a cleanup ordinance. Throughout the Zoning Code, there are references to the Department of Community Development, the Community Planning and Development Services Department, the Growth Management Department, and the Planning Department. This ordinance will shorten all those references to just the “Department” and add a definition of “Department” as the Department of Community Development. Additionally, a definition of “Director” is being added, which is the Director of the Department of Community Development. No substantive changes of the zoning code are being proposed by this ordinance.
