Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Final Planned Development Overlay to allow a bank in the General Commercial District. In particular, the applicant is proposing to construct a 2,768 square foot commercial building for “First Interstate Bank” with a two stall drive-thru. A portion of the proposed property is currently dedicated public right-of-way. The applicant is proposing to vacate the right-of-way through a Final Plat. A Building Permit will not be issued until the right-of-way is vacated. The applicant is requesting an Exception to allow two ground signs with a separation of 50 feet in lieu of the minimum required 100 feet.
The property is comprised of approximately 0.703 acres of land zoned General Commercial District with a Planned Development. Currently, the property is void of any structural development.
