Agenda Item Summary:
The purpose of the Ordinance Amendment is to address the definition of what constitutes a private garage, clarify the criteria for review of a Conditional Use Permit to allow an over-sized garage, and to include those revised criteria in sections of the Zoning Ordinance where an over-sized garage is identified as a conditional use. The title of the Ordinance Amendment erroneously identified amending Section 17.58.030(L) of the RCMC, which is the Airport Zoning District. In addition, the proposed Ordinance Amendment will be altered to revise the existing criteria in the Park Forest District rather than adding a new section. Staff recommends that the Ordinance Amendment be continued to the December 6, 2018 Planning Commission meeting to allow the publication to be correctly advertised.
