Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Conditional Use Permit to allow structures in the Flood Hazard District in conjunction with the Children’s Miracle Network Great Black Hills Duck Race. In particular, the applicant is proposing to hold a one day event on July 30, 2017 at Memorial Park with entertainment, vendors, and up to 500 attendees. A vendor area and kids activity area is proposed in addition to a stage. The event will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the end of the race. A Floodplain Development Permit has been obtained.
