Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Rezoning request to change the zoning designation from General Agricultural District to Low Density Residential District for a 7.334 acre parcel of land. The 7.334 acres is a part of a larger 40 acre parcel. The applicant has also submitted a Preliminary Subdivision Plan to subdivide the 7.334 acres into 25 residential lots leaving an unplatted balance. A Master Plan was submitted for the entire 40 acre parcel showing a four phase development resulting in a total of 105 residential lots, a lift station lot and 2 drainage tracts. The balance of the property is currently zoned General Agriculture District which will serve as a holding zone until the balance of the property is developed. The property is located approximately 1,200 feet east of the intersection W. Nike Road and Country Drive on the south side of Country Drive. Currently, the 7.334 acres is void of any structural development.
