Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a request to rezone approximately 3.33 acres from No Use District to General Commercial District. On February 9, 2017, the Planning Commission approved an Annexation (File #17AN002) and Preliminary Subdivision Plan (File #17PL004) for the Johnson Ranch Subdivision. The total area of property requested for rezoning in all associated applications is approximately 45.7 acres, to be developed with a mix of commercial and residential uses. The applicant has submitted five additional rezone requests for the property (File #s 17RZ004, 005, 007, 008, and 009). The applicant has requested that all the proposed rezone requests be continued to the March 9, 2017 Planning Commission meeting to allow the applicant to meet with the neighborhood to discuss the development project.
