The applicant has submitted an Initial and Final Planned Development Overlay to allow an athletic training and performance center. In particular, the applicant is proposing to construct a 28,350 square foot facility including a gymnasium and office areas for physical training, wellness, sports medicine, and rehab/injury prevention. The applicant has also indicated that a future phase II of the development will come forward with a Major Amendment to the Planned Development. The applicant is requesting an Exception to reduce the landscape parking island requirement from 3 to zero.
