Agenda Item Summary:
An Ordinance Amendment to allow artisan distillers as a Conditional Use in the Central Business District was submitted by Randal Decker. Upon review at the Development Review Team meeting, it was determined that the use may also be appropriate in the General Commercial District. Staff visited with the applicant and he concurred to amend the application to include the General Commercial District. In order to meet the publication requirements which include both districts, this item must be continued to the November 9, 2017 Planning Commission meeting. Staff’s review of the request and a draft Ordinance document will be presented to the Planning Commission at that meeting.
