Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a request to allow a 6 foot high fence along a side lot line that abuts a street in lieu of a 4 foot high fence as per Chapter 17.50.340(B)1 of the Rapid City Municipal Code. The applicant is proposing to construct a 6 foot high fence in the rear yard of the dwelling. The property abuts three streets and a 10 foot setback from the property line is required for a 6 foot high fence that abuts a second street frontage.
