Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant is requesting this Major Amendment to the Conditional Use Permit to allow expansion of an existing television station. In February of 2004, a Conditional Use Permit was approved to allow an existing television station and accessory structures to be located on property zoned General Agriculture District. Today, the applicant is proposing an expansion of the existing operation on the site in a consolidation of the KOTA and KEVN television operations into one structure at one centralized location. The proposed expansion includes a 10,000 square foot structural expansion to their existing 10,000 square foot facility, with additional parking to meet City parking requirements.
