Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a Rezoning request to change the zoning designation from General Agricultural District to General Commercial District on a 0.16 acre portion of Lot 1, Block 3, Marlin Drive Commercial Park located along the southeast side of Elk Vale Road between Creek Drive and E. Minnesota Street. The balance of Lot 1 is currently zoned General Commercial District. Rezoning the northwest corner of the property as proposed will create one zoning designation for the entire lot. This application is a companion item to four additional Rezoning requests within this area to create a mix of commercial, employment and light industrial uses. Currently, the property is void of any structural development.
