Agenda Item Summary:
The applicant has submitted a request to rezone approximately 0.4 acres from Medium Density Residential District to Office Commercial District. The applicant has also submitted a request for a Planned Development Designation (File #16PD033). The applicant is proposing to redevelop the properties as the offices for the Black Hills Crisis Pregnancy Center, which provides consultation and medical treatment for at-risk pregnant women. A medical clinic and offices are neither permitted nor conditional uses in the Medium Density Residential District but are permitted in the Office Commercial District. The applicant has requested the associated Planned Development Designation in order to coordinate with the City to ensure the site is designed appropriately for the unique character of the property and the neighborhood.
