The applicant has submitted a Final Planned Development to allow a daycare in the Low Density Residential District. The applicant is currently operating a family daycare with 12 children at the current residence. The family daycare is permitted as a home occupation in the Low Density Residential District. The applicant is proposing to increase the number of children from 12 to 20. The applicant is requesting two Exceptions: to reduce the minimum required parking from five parking spaces to four parking spaces and to reduce the minimum required setback for an outdoor play area from 25 feet to “0” feet.
