Brief Description: The focus of RCFD’s efforts with these grant funds will be on recruiting and training volunteers from surrounding communities throughout western SD. This will help increase the number of certified paramedics, EMTs, and AEMTs for our communities.
Why is it important for the city: This will help increase the number of certified paramedics, EMTs, and AEMTs for our region.
Fiscal Impact: Funding will be used for staff time, training equipment, and training books for the participants over the next two years.
