Agenda Item Summary:
The RCPD is seeking authorization to purchase practice ammunition for 2024 training needs of Department personnel; this is our routine practice and happens every year. Sworn officers and the Special Response Team (SRT) have significant training needs. The breakdown of the total price is $8,940 for SRT and $31,725 for sworn officers. Per Scott Nelson, Purchasing Specialist with the State of South Dakota Bureau of Administration, South Dakota uses the State of Missouri’s contract with the State of Missouri.
