Agenda Item Summary:
The EPA Pollution Reduction Planning Grant staffing structure includes contracting with a firm to provide technical expertise and assistance to ensure the City meets all grant deliverables. It is 100% funded through the grant. A group of six volunteers reviewed all proposals submitted and scored them based on factors including an understanding of our community, ability to meet the grant deliverables and timelines, cost, communication strategies, and expertise. A follow-up interview was held with the top two firms at which point SSG was determined to be the best choice.
This contract will last until the summer of 2025.
