Cybersecurity has become increasingly important for all medium-to-large sized organizations as hacking and other digital attacks have become a favorite tool used by cyber attackers to compromise data or extort money. This is especially true of governmental entities, which many of these attackers view as having especially sensitive data and deep pockets. Resolution No. 2022-091 memorializes the City’s commitment to cybersecurity.
