Agenda Item Summary:
Homestead Street was constructed as part of TIF 83. The TIF agreement requires the developer to arrange for the dedication of all necessary right of way to the City for the new street. Toward that end, the developer platted Lot H1 (more fully described below) that contains the necessary limits of the right of way needed for Homestead Street. The property owners have signed the quitclaim deed for Lot H1. If the City accepts the quitclaim deed, the City will record it at the Pennington County Register of Deeds. Full legal description: Lot H1 located in a Portion of W1/2SW1/4NW1/4 Less Big Sky Business Park, Less Lot H2 and Less ROW and a Portion of Lot 2R, Block 3 of Big Sky Business Park, Section 3, Township 1 North (T1N), Range 8 East (R8E), City of Rapid City, Pennington County, South Dakota.
