Agenda Item Summary:
Council previously approved Resolution 2021-102, attached, which authorizes the Mayor and Finance Director to submit an application for financial assistance to the South Dakota Board of Water and Natural Resources and authorizes them to accept the grant if awarded. This item is directly related to the prior agenda item regarding Approval of Resolution 2022-058 relating to the improvement of the Wastewater Treatment Facility and execution of an SRF funding package. With approval of the prior agenda item staff will move forward concurrently with having the Mayor and Finance Director with executing the grant documents.
