Agenda Item Summary:
The Rapid City Fire Department is requesting permission to purchase a HME Ahrens-Fox Type 34 for $362,748 through HGAC. This purchase will be an addition to the department’s fleet adding another Type 3 Wildland apparatus to its fleet. This Type 3 will replace an aging Type 6 at Station 3 giving additional capabilities to their response to wildland fires.
