Agenda Item Summary:
In January, the City hired a Cultural Strategist to aid the City in improving the Workplace Culture, along with other projects. As part of improving the culture, it became apparent that the previous recognition program was insufficient to effect a shift in workplace culture. This program, when approved, continues to recognize our long-term employees upon their retirement as well as to recognize our current employees for exemplary service to their community and improve our workplace culture.
