Agenda Item Summary:
On April 27, 2020, the Council approved a resolution which modified the restrictions and rules placed on businesses in Ordinance 6413. These modifications allowed restaurants, bars, and other businesses to begin serving customers on-site if they engaged in certain practices that are meant to slow the spread of COVID-19. These modifications are in effect until May 31st. Ordinance 6413 expires on June 6th. If you do not approve this extension, then the modified rules will expire and the more restrictive rules in the original ordinance will go back into effect.

City Council Options:
You can approve or deny. If you approve, these regulations will remain in place until the original emergency ordinance expires. If you reject the extension, the modified restrictions in the resolution will expire and the previous closures in the original ordinance will go back into effect.
