Agenda Item Summary:
Council previously approved a one-year agreement with RAS to handle the City’s workers’ compensation claims, effective January 1, 2020. Berkley Risk, the City’s former work comp claims administrator then informed the City that it would terminate its agreement with the City effective March 31, 2020. This is not something we anticipated (nor did RAS), so this Addendum covers the fees, in the amount of $55,000, for RAS to also take over our existing work comp claims, which they have already done.
