The Rapid City Police Department is requesting City Council’s authorization to apply for and accept the 2020 Community Oriented Policing (COPS) Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act Grant. The RCPD would utilize this grant to fund, for two years, one full-time Wellness Coordinator who would direct and manage mental health and wellness for our agency.
