Agenda Item Summary:
In order to construct the Civic Center expansion, a decision has been made to relocate the Black Hills Energy transmission line on the north side of the RPCC. The City is paying a portion of the costs to relocate the line in order to accommodate the project. This cost is part of the overall project budget. BHE is ready to commence the project and it needs to be completed this summer to keep the project on track. The agreement is a standard agreement the City and BHE have previously negotiated for line relocation costs.
