Agenda Item Summary:
The City of Rapid City now has city issued credit cards that may be used for travel expenses therefore the Travel Funds for the Police Department and Civic Center are no longer needed. The Civic Center believes that additional petty cash will be needed since the travel fund is not being continued. The Cashier’s Office does not use petty cash as it has in the past since the City has charge accounts available at many locations in town therefore the amount is being decreased.
