Agenda Item Summary:
The City has received an offer from the Fay Ellen Bice Trust to sell the following property to the City: Lot 10 in Block 2 of Tract A, Braeburn Addition. The property is located near Braeburn Off-Leash Area and is in the flood hazard area. One of the recommendations submitted by the Floodplain Task Force was that the City purchase parcels of land that are located in the floodplain when they become available; this is one of those parcels. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board supports the purchase of this property.
