Agenda Item Summary:
We have about 6,500 parking tickets from 2013 totaling $67,669.54 that we will more than likely not be able to collect. The auditors only like us to have 3 years’ worth of tickets on the books. In addition, now that we are moving to Tyler Technologies, we will be able to send letters out for delinquent tickets. This alone should help reduce both the number and dollar amounts of future tickets that will need to be written off.
