Agenda Item Summary:
The Police Department requests permission to apply, and accept if granted, the 2017 DOJ Body-Worn Camera Implementation Grant. This grant will be applied for and accepted in partnership with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office. The overall award would be for $800,000, with the City and County each responsible for one-quarter of the funding, or $200,000 each.
