Agenda Item Summary:
This resolution is an update to an existing resolution, Resolution 2010-168 approved by City Council in 2010. The resolution updates the maximum construction fee for the connection amount to be applied to projects identified as a Source Water Protection Project for connection to the City’s sewer system. The resolution is being updated due to increasing construction costs yet still providing an incentive to property owners to encourage abandonment of existing on-site wastewater systems and connection to the City’s sewer system when sewer is available to their property.
