Agenda Item Summary:
The above mentioned project was bid on May 11, 2021 and the City did not receive any bids. The project was modified and rebid on June 29, 2021 and the City did not receive any bids. Because the project is critical for the Water Reclamation Division’s operation and permit compliance, staff has entered into direct negotiations, in accordance with State Bid Law, with RCS Construction, Inc. Staff is requesting authorizing the Mayor and Finance Officer to sign a standard project agreement between the City of Rapid City and RCS Construction, Inc. for 2020 Miscellaneous Improvements Projects - Water Reclamation Facility Digester Boiler Replacement, Project No. 21-2651/ CIP No. 51132.3 for an amount not to exceed $373,500.00
