Agenda Item Summary:
Three Parks and Recreation (Parks) locations have been identified as needing more bandwidth to maintain normal operational status. Midco has provide the following rates for each location:
Halley Park Current $280 for 10Mbps New $350 for 30Mbps
Meadowbrook Current $275 for 10Mbps New $350 for 30Mbps
Sioux Park Pool Current $260 for 10Mbps $350 for 30Mbps with $250 installation charge.
This does not change any of the service agreements in place with Midco but as the total amount of the Midco contracts with the city is above the threshold, this expenditure must be brought before Council. This will be funded out of the Parks Department’s operating budget.
