Agenda Item Summary:
The Police Department wants to increase the network capability of the substation at the mall. As such, it requires a full internet service from Midco. This does not change any of the service agreements in place with Midco but as the total amount of the Midco contracts with the city is above the threshold, this expenditure must be brought before Council. This will be funded out of the Police Department’s operating budget.
The new line will have a one time $250 charge and a monthly fee of $350 dollars.
