Agenda Item Summary:
This contract is for the design and bidding services for the reconstruction of Dyess Avenue from the Seger Drive intersection north to the City limits. This project originated due to the failing street section, and was identified by the Street Department as number 1 priority starting in 2019. The roadway will be reconstructed and widened to include three- 12 foot lanes of PCC pavement with an asphalt shoulder. The existing water and sanitary sewer mains were installed in 2013 and 2016 respectively, so only minor adjustments are anticipated due to drainage and street grading. Drainage will be evaluated and storm sewer is anticipated.
