Agenda Item Summary:
In October, the Council authorized the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center to advertise for RFPs for a Life Safety/Fall Arrest System for the new arena. After Council approval and appropriate advertising, only one proposal was received. This proposal was well beyond the amount budgeted for the project. Therefore, we request the Council reject the proposal and we will re-advertise the RFP again.
