A request was received in the Engineering Office on December 7, 2020 requesting the requirement to install sidewalk along E. Saint Francis Street per City of Rapid City Ordinance 12.08.060 be waived. A five-foot wide sidewalk is required to be constructed along E. Saint Francis Street at the time of building permit. The requested variance will allow for construction of a new coffee kiosk in the parking lot to replace the existing coffee kiosk. Staff agrees with the justification from the applicant and support the request.
