Agenda Item Summary:
There are 36 apartments proposed for the Discovery Village development to be located south of Anamosa Street adjacent to vacated Gold Street (see attached location map). There is an existing drainage easement located partially on the proposed development and partially on City of Rapid City property adjacent to the east of the proposed development. The proposed development requires an additional drainage easement for their development. The Developer agrees to pay $1,346.40 to the City in exchange for granting this easement. Approval of this request will grant the drainage easement and allow this much needed development to move forward. City staff supports this request and recommends approval.
