Agenda Item Summary:
Like other areas of the country, our community has seen an increase in people coming to the area and receiving homeless services. In response to this growing trend, Pennington County and Rapid City are introducing a resolution to formally set a new trajectory with the shared objective of reducing homelessness in our community. If passed, this resolution will help guide future efforts as well as encourage residents to support organizations and initiatives working to achieve this goal.
