Agenda Item Summary:
Project is a comprehensive rehabilitation on an existing bridge located on E Main Street N between Brenan Ave. and Steele Ave. The existing bridge deck and bent caps will be removed and replaced with a new deck and bent caps. The existing girders will be removed, repainted and replaced and the existing bike path and bike lane will be re-installed and a safety railing installed. A 2019 Bridge Improvement Grant (BIG) was obtained for the repair work on this structure. The grant reimburses 75% of the costs for design, construction and construction administration for the work, to a maximum of $553,500.
