Agenda Item Summary:
The Water Reclamation Division will be bidding several miscellaneous facility projects at the treatment facility. One of these projects is the replacement of two boilers for the digester facility. One of the existing boilers has failed and the other one is likely close to failure. The boiler equipment has a long lead time from when the order is placed to when it arrives at the site. For this reason pre-purchasing this equipment is recommended.
