Award equipment bid for two 8000 pound triple stage forklifts to Lift Pro Equipment Company, Inc. Lift Pro equipment is the same brand and type of equipment currently used in the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and meets the facility’s operational needs. Low bidder Octane Forklift equipment as bid is too tall to utilize in the facility and in the trucks, and is too large and would require facility or operational modifications to meet the City’s needs. See attached recommendation letter for details.
