Agenda Item Summary:
Description: Project will consist of pumping, electrical, and mechanical upgrades necessary to increase capacity of the existing Red Rock Booster Pump Station. Project will consist of new pumps, variable frequency drives, a new floor, ventilation system, and new process piping housed in the existing building. There were technical irregularities in the bid. Section 4, Sheet 4.7 was not submitted. Section 4, Sheet 4.19 was incomplete, and the Harmonic Analysis was not obtained at time of bid opening. Section 3 Insurance Requirements were clarified to insure builders risk language was included. These documents were submitted March 30, 2017. The harmonics analysis has been agreed to be submitted after award. These technical irregularities do not affect price, quantity, or quality, and Staff recommends award to the lowest responsible bidder.
