Q: Where is City Hall and when is it open?
.......A: The City School Administration Center, City Hall (CSAC) is located at 300 Sixth Street, on Omaha between 5th Street and 6th Street. The normal hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. The Mayor's Office on the 2nd floor and the Finance Department on the 1st floor is open until 5:00 p.m.

Q: Can I plant trees/do landscaping in the boulevard area in front of my house?
.......A: Yes, but with some stipulations. All work in the Public Right-of-Way requires a permit (currently free) to do any work on public land. Eight feet is considered the minimum distance between your sidewalk and the back of curb to plant a tree in the middle of the boulevard. (Contact Engineering Services, 394-4154)

Q: I have a question about my water? Who should I call?

Q: Who do I call if I have a problem with my sewer or find out where my sewer line is located?
.......A: Call the Utility Maintenance office at 394-4163 weekdays, and call 394-4160 for nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Q: When is the sanitary landfill open?
.......A: The landfill is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday thru Saturday.

Q: How do I get the City to repair my street?

Q: I would like to have a stop sign installed to slow down traffic. Why won't the City do this for me?
.......A: Call the City Traffic Engineer and an engineering study along with engineering judgment will be used to justify or decline the stop or yield sign.
