air quality permits and fees

Do I need an air quality permit?

An air quality permit is required for construction activities that will disturb one or more acres of natural or preexisting surface area. Open burning is prohibited, with a few exceptions, in the Air Quality Control Zone. If open burning is allowed under one of the exceptions, an open burning permit is required. Parking lot permits are required for parking and/or storage lots one acre or more in size that apply deicing and traction materials in the winter or lots that are unpaved.
