Tennis Block Party This is our free summer kick-off carnival for the Sioux Park Tennis Complex! Come join the fun and begin the summer with a hit. Kids of all ages are welcome to join us for fun, tennis-focused games, activities, music and more. This is a good opportunity to register for summer lessons and programs. Sunday, June 1, 2008 3:00 - 5:00 PM This is a free event!!

Free Tennis Lessons. We are so confident that you'll enjoy our lessons we are willing to let you try it before you buy it! All ages and abilities welcome. June 8, 2008: 5:00 - 6:00 PM July 20, 2008: 5:00 - 6:00 PM August 17, 2008: 5:00 - 6:00 PM This is a FREE event!

Rapid City Recreation Mini Session Lessons. These camps are for kids ages 6 to 18 who have little experience but woud like to explore their talents. This is a great way to begin to learn about tennis before you pursue regular lessons. We will form groups based on age and ability levels. Cost is $20 per session. Please check out the program guide for dates and times.

Toddler Tennis. (2 and 3 year olds) This program is designed to be fun and introduce your youngsters to the sport of tennis. The very basics of the game will be the focal point of these lessons. We will play fun introductory games as our teaching technique. No need to bring a racquet; we will furnish all the equipment you need to come and have fun. $30.00 per session

Pee Wee Lessons. This program is designed for children 4 and 5 years old with the exception of some advanced 3 year olds. Pee Wee tennis keeps learning fun while teaching the game of tennis by practicing games and drills. This is a great way to get your child interested in tennis! No need to bring a racquet; we will furnish all the equipment you need to come and have fun. $30.00 per session

Young Hitters. This program is designed for children 6 and 7 years old with the exception of some advacned 5 yar olds. "Young Hitters" tennis keeps learning fun while practicing games and drills. This is a great way to get your child interested in tennis! Equipment will be furnished. The Tennis Olympics is a fun and educational skills event that will be held at the end of every session. $35.00 per session.

Junior and Adult Lessons. A series of group lessons held ten consecutive weekdays covering the fundamentals of basic strokes, scoring and positioning. All levels are welcome! We will make groups based on age adn ability. Bring your own racquet or borrow one from the Tennis Pro Shop. Balls will be furnished. The Tennis Olympics is a fun and educational skills event that will be held at the end of every session for juniors. See the Program Guide for detailed scheduling. Adults: $40.00 per session Juniors: $35.00 per session

RC Recreation Jr. Tennis League Format for this class will consist of the following: Match Strategy Drills on Monday and matches on Wednesdays and Fridays. See the Program Guide for dates and times. $40 per session (Register for both sessions and get $10.00 off!)

Tennis Olympics Skills Competition. Enjoy the Tennis Olympics right here in Rapid City! At the conclusion of each session of lessons, students will have the opporutnity to represent their own country in the Tennis Olympics. Countries will compete in a skills competition involving all tennis skills taught in the lessons. Prizes will be awarded. This is a fun and educational skills event that will be held at the end of each session.

Private, Semi-Private and Small Group Tennis Lessons Private and Semi-Private lessons are available for all ages. Please call 394-6965 to set up an appointment. We will work around your schedule. Sign up for three or more lessons to receive a discount! Private Lessons (1 person): $15.00 per hour Semi-Private Lessons (2 people): $10.00 each Small Group (3 to 5 people): $25.00 per hour (add $2 each for over 5)

Smash and Splash
There is no reason not to work hard on your game this summer, even if it's hot outside. Once we are finish Smashing the ball on the court from 9:00 to 10:00, we will Splash into the Jimmy Hilton Municipal Pool from 10:00 until 11:45 AM. All ages and abilities welcome. Children 7 and under must have a parent present at the pool. Fee: $30.00 See the Program Guide for detailed schedule.

Tennis and a Movie
If you like movies then this is the class for you. Ten movies and tennis for one low price. After you relax watching the big screen, we will get you up and moving! Tennis will work out any lazy bone you have left! Meet at Sioux Park at 12:30 PM. From there we will take you to the Elks Theater 1:00 PM movie. Then, back to the tennis courts for some fun play until 4:00 PM. Class size is limited to 12 participants. Cost includes your movie ticket and transportation. Jungle packs (popcorn and a soda) are $2.50 each, so bring a little spending cash if you wish. Fee: $35.00 10 Tuesdays (June 10 - August 5) Time: 12:30 - 4:00 PM
