Week of Fun in the Sun |
|||
Who said you had to go away to camp! Let us take you on a week of adventure right in your own back yard; and you get to sleep in your own bed. Each day there will be a different field trip to an attraction in the area along with dedicated time spent in our outdoor education program. The Recreation Division's Camp Program is not only designed to meet the needs of working parents, but also to provide youth with a safe, fun and educational summer camp experience. Our staff is dedicated and trained to be the best role models they can be. We have two Outdoor Education Major Interns from Black Hills State University as our Camp Counselors. The first week starts June 9th and the last week starts August 11th. There will be no programming the week of June 30th or August 4th. Drop off time is no earlier than 8 am and pickup time is no later than 4:30 pm. A summer packet will have detailed descriptions of the schedule as well as the policies and procedures for the camp. Maximum enrollment is 20 participants with four staff members. The cost is $125 per participant, per week, or $30 per participant per day. Week of Fun in the Sun camps are available for young persons ages 8 and up. See the Program Guide for scheduling details. Monthly Trip Schedule
