Mountain Biking Classes
Rapid City Parks and Recreation along with the Black Hills Mountain Biking Association is offering a great way to increase your fitness, get started riding single track trails, or refresh your skills in the mountain biking area.
In the beginner class you will master the skills you'll need to ride safely on single track trails. In the intermediate class we go beyond the single track; we'll teach you how to manage the technical stuff, how to ride over rocks, roots and logs. The best way to build a solid skill base is to practice the skills and drills you'll learn on the trail.
Throughout all the classes, our instructors will guide you through some of the local trail systems and provide you with the knowledge you'll need to find your way around. Below is an overview of the available classes. The Mountain Bike Skills Classes are limited to a small number of participants, so sign up early.
